This year’s game is called Crescendo. Two alliances, made up of three robots each, compete against each other to score as many “notes” in the amps or speakers as possible. Scoring a “note” earns a team points. During the last thirty seconds of the match the teams have a choice to go to their stage and hang on a chain for additional possible points. By working together and scoring points, teams can advance to higher levels.
At the Smoky Mountain Regional, the team ranked 18th and made it to Match 13 of the Playoff rounds, amounting to third place overall.
At the Miami Valley Regional, the team ranked 25th.
