This year’s game is called Reefscape. Two alliances, made up of three robots each, compete against each other to score as many “coral” on the reef as possible. Scoring “coral” on the reef earns a team points. Large balls known as “algae” must be cleared from the reef and deposited in either the Barge or their Processor for additional points. During the last thirty seconds of the match, the teams have a choice to go to their Barge and hang on a Cage hanging from a chain for additional possible points. By working together and scoring points, teams can advance to higher levels.
At the Finger Lakes Regional, the team ranked 16th and made it to Match 10 of the Playoff rounds.
At the Miami Valley Regional, the team ranked 8th and made it to Match 13 of the Playoff rounds, which amounts to third place overall.
