3-3-10 to 3-6-10

Washington D.C. Regional! After a long bus ride the robotics team explored D.C.’s famous memorials and museums. We went behind the scenes at the Smithsonian to learn how bird specimens are prepared. After a long day we headed back to the hotel to get rested for the big competition the next day. Dean Kamen, the founder of FIRST, was a main speaker at the opening ceremony. At the tournament we placed 8th out of 59 teams and made the quarter-finals. The biggest honor was to be there and to have fun.
